Monsignor Héctor Fabio Henao, representative of the Episcopal Conference of Colombia, a member institution of the IRIColombia Advisory Council published an opinion column in El Espectador, the Colombian newspaper. This article titled, “Saving the Amazon from an Irreversible State will be everyone’s responsibility” highlighted the work of IRI Colombia stating, “For IRI Colombia it is clear that the voice of religious leaders from diverse beliefs and spiritualities is crucial in the common endeavor to conserve the largest tropical forest on the planet. Although humanity comes from all walks of life, we still have the capacity to collaborate to build and guarantee the protection of the home we share.” See a link to the editorial here.
