IRI Peru continues to deliver policy dialogues through ‘Pact for the Amazon. The most recent dialogue was titled, “The challenges of renewable energies for the Peruvian Amazon”, which included two panels on renewable energy in the country and included a focus on the need to protect and better manage forests and Amazonian waters. The Minister of the Environment of Peru, Mr. Modesto Montoya, was present to participate in the dialogue.
