IRI Indonesia holds four-day planning workshop

IRI Indonesia recently held a four-day strategic planning workshop with all members of its Advisory Council. The workshop, held in Tamblingan, Bali was convened to affirm the leadership and vision of Advisory Council members, to consider the achievements delivered by IRI Indonesia in Phase 1, to consider the best practices and lessons learned from other IRI country programs, and to draft the IRI Indonesia work plan for 2022. Participation included leaders from the Inter-religous Council of Indonesia, Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Muhammadiyah, Communion of Churches in Indonesia (PGI), Bishops’ Conference of Indonesia (KWI), Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia (PHDI), Permabudhi, Supreme Council for the Confucian Religion in Indonesia (MATAKIN), Indigenous Peoples’ Alliance of the Archipelago (AMAN), Rainforest Foundation Norway (RFN), UNAS University, IPB University, EcoNusa and Conservation Strategy Fund Indonesia (CSF). The workshop included a field visit to give participants direct exposure to a rainforest environment.
