The trainings focused on advancing strategies and pastoral action plans for each chapter that promote the defense of forests and advocate for their restoration, examining the science between deforestation and climate change (and understanding the impacts of climate change on population, biodiversity, the water cycle and food security), and identifying local climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies that can be led by the local chapter members in their communities and regions.
