IRI-Colombia draws attention to the urgency of action to address the environmental crisis.

“According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the food security of 30 million people is at risk,” said Carlos Augusto Lozano, who represented the Initiative at the leadership seminar “Human Dignity in the Light of the Principles of Restoration,” on November 2 in Bogotá.

In his presentation, the national advisor of IRI-Colombia addressed the consequences of climate change for humanity -especially for vulnerable sectors-, the vital role that religious leaders and faith communities must play in the fight against climate change through the care of creation and the mission of the Initiative.
