IRI Peru consolidated and approved its 2026 work plan with Peru’s Ministry of Environment following a coordination meeting with ministry representatives. The plan includes activities of mutual interest, including scientific and Amazon immersion trips for religious leaders, with visits to environmental institutions such as SERNANP, the Peruvian Amazon Research Institute and SENAMHI. It also includes collaboration with ministry experts in dialogues promoted by IRI Peru. By formalizing coordination with the national environmental authority, IRI Peru is strengthening the institutional backing for its work to mobilize religious leadership, deepen environmental education and advance action for forests, climate and the Amazon.
