In the middle of March, the Interfaith Rainforest Initiative held an event as part of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA) which was moderated by Dr. Charles McNeill and included the participation of Astrid Knutsen Hårstad, Political Advisor to the Norwegian Environment and Climate Minister; Rev. Fletcher Harper, GreenFaith; Prof. Kusumita Pedersen, Parliament of the World’s Religions; Fr. Joshtrom Isaac Kureethadam, The Vatican Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development. Fazlun Khalid, Islamic Foundation for Ecology and Environmental Sciences; and Dr. Hayu Prabowo, Siaga Bumi.
