IRI DRC delivers statement by country’s religious leaders calling for ratification of new law on the rights of indigenous peoples

On September 11, the Platform of Religious Denominations (constituted by the 8 major faith groups in DRC) came together to discuss and approve an IRI statement on a proposal for a law on fundamental principles relating to the protection and promotion of the rights of the Pygmy Indigenous Peoples in DRC.
