IRI Peru holds course for journalists on the protection of forests and the rights of indigenous peoples

On October 29th and 30th, IRI Peru held a workshop for journalists, with experts and Advisory Council members providing a briefing on the connections between forests, climate change and the rights of indigenous peoples, the threats currently facing forests in the country and the mission and work of IRI Peru as a platform for interfaith action in defense of forests and forest defenders.  The event was attended by 27 journalists.
