On 1 December, IRI Colombia and the Evangelical Confederation of Colombia, Cedecol, joined forces to hold a meeting of pastors in the municipality of Puerto Rico, in Caquetá. The event brought together 30 pastors and was led by Pastor Edgar Castaño, president of Cedecol, and included a presentation on IRI Colombia and the urgency of protecting forests, given by Pastor John Jairo Escobar, coordinator of IRI Puerto Rico. “We explain that we are not trying to impose, this is an initiative that wants to teach and transmit the need to care for nature,” said Pastor John Jairo Escobar.
