IRI Indonesia has released its national issue primer on forest restoration as a contribution to the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. The primer includes explanations about forest restoration, the types of activities that can be undertaken to achieve the objectives defined by the UN Decade, the importance of planting in addition to safeguarding already existing forests and guidance on how religious communities can get involved in restoration activities.
