IRI Peru was invited to be a keynote speaker in a panel on integral ecology. The event, held on February 16th was held for the members of the Christian Life Communities, a lay organization of the Society of Jesus, to promote a greater commitment to the care of the common home. A fundamental aspect of that care is the care and protection of forests and the people who inhabit them. The dialogue allowed for deeper collaboration with the person in charge of the social works of the Jesuits in Peru. IRI Peru was presented to the 40 Christian leaders in attendance.
