IRI Quillabamba participates in preparatory meeting for municipal environmental commission

The Municipal Environmental Commission in Quillabamba convened its members for the preparation of a 2024 Work Plan. The IRI Peru chapter IRI Quillabamba was selected to participate in the components of climate change and risk management , as well as awareness and training. On February 28^th, the multisectoral commission on environmental education presented the plan to the directors of the educational institutions of La Convención. IRI Peru was provided space in the program to present the Initiative. IRI Quillabamba also introduced the IRI Peru program to Directors of Educational Institutions of the Convention, and IRI Quillabamba presented the work it has been doing to raise awareness and protect forests in the province of La Convención to the directors of educational institutions.
