IRI Colombia participated in the second workshop of the Custodians of the Amazon programme, convened by the Alliance for Sustainability (Alisos) and the British Embassy. The meeting served as an opportunity to identify the role of NGOs in the mitigation of environmental crimes in the Colombian Amazon and present the national government with a series of recommendations on the subject. During the meeting, participants developed proposals on the priority issues to be taken into account in the recommendations to be presented to the government in April.
