On 27 March, IRI DRC joined other civil society participants in a brainstorming meeting organised by the REDD Climate Working Group. The objective of the meeting was to promote integrated water management to guarantee peace and prosperity for the Congolese people and the Congo River Basin. The meeting resulted in the addition of the Civil Society Position Note on the Challenges of Water Management in the Congo Basin by identifying the challenges, formulating recommendations and mobilising civil society actors to bring this action to decisionmakers.
