On 9 April, IRI Peru held a working meeting with the Mayor, the Environmental Development Manager, and the Manager of the Solid Waste Department of the municipality of Imaza to develop alternative projects aimed at promoting the defense of forests through land use reform. The municipality committed to develop and present work proposals to be discussed and finalized with IRI Peru.
