As Coordinator of the Integral Ecology Commission of Resucita Peru Ahora (RPA), IRI Peru supported its proposal to issue a public statement expressing concern over the laws discussed during the Environmental Plenary to be convened by the Congress in June. The statement can be viewed here. IRI Peru has been collaborating with RPA in the organisation of dialogue and training spaces with social organisations throughout the country, where IRI Peru is ensuring a focus on the protection of forests and the rights of Indigenous Peoples as key themes.
