IRI Indonesia, in partnership with the Peatland and Mangrove Restoration Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BRGM), conducted a two-day “Innovative Social Media Journalism Training,” which enhanced environmental awareness among 34 journalists, public relations professionals, and faith actors. The training strengthened the capacities of journalists and religious communities in disseminating accurate and positive information about environmental conservation efforts, especially regarding mangroves and rainforests. Dr. Hayu Prabowo, IRI Indonesia National Facilitator, emphasised the role of effective communication in fostering environmental morality and combatting environmental degradation.
