Between November 2nd and 6th, IRI Peru launched three new chapters in San Martín, a region of the country where forests face considerable threats. The virtual launch events brought together religious leaders, indigenous peoples, civil society organizations, and local and regional government authorities from Moyobamba, Bellavista and Tarapoto, creating new platforms for interfaith collaboration and action on the protection of forests and the rights of indigenous peoples. The launch in Bellavista had 77 participants, in Moyobamba had 84 participants, and Tarapoto had 57 participants.
