The Environmental Commission of the district of Imaza sent a Draft Municipal Ordinance for the Environmental Management of the district to the IRI Marañón for consultation. The document was sent for consultation to Cristina del Águila, an expert in municipal issues and IRI Peru’s focal point on these issues. After the analysis, the document was sent to the municipality with contributions from IRI Peru, including a stronger emphasis on forest protection measures.
