IRI Brazil holds screening of the Amazônia Viva film at the J-20 meeting

At the invitation of the Secretary General of the Federal Supreme Court, IRI Brazil held a screening of the Amazônia Viva film during the J-20 Meeting of Presidents and representatives of the Supreme Courts and Constitutional Courts of G-20 member countries. The J-20 meeting sought to establish a global forum for bodies of constitutional jurisdiction and encourage the exchange of ideas and initiatives on topics of relevance, including citizenship, social inclusion, climate litigation, sustainable development, digital transformation, and the use of technology for the efficiency of justice. During the event, IRI Brazil showed the film to about half of the participants, several of whom expressed their interest in showing the Amazônia Viva film in their respective countries. After the event, it was agreed that the Federal Supreme Court would host a month-long exhibition of the Amazônia Viva film in June, as part of its commemorative program for World Environment Day.
