On 28 May, IRI Colombia held a meeting of its Advisory Council. During the meeting, IRI Colombia presented its achievements and key lessons, reflected on the current and emerging challenges faced by tropical forests and their communities, explored effective strategies to increase awareness, discussed concrete actions on the protection of forests and the rights of Indigenous Peoples, and facilitated knowledge-sharing among Advisory Council members and key stakeholders.
