The second and third modules focused on the environmental and climate implications of deforestation and forest degradation in the Amazon and nature-based solutions to address the social and environmental challenges posed by deforestation. Lastly, the fourth module focused on payments for environmental services (PES) and the application of PES in climate regulation, air and water quality maintenance, and protection against natural disasters.
