IRI-Colombia Participates in Developing the Strategy for the Red de Redes Amazónicas

In July, IRI-Colombia continued to actively participate in the collective decision-making forums organized by the Red de Redes Amazónicas, contributing to the design of a joint agenda that strengthens coordination among organizations, platforms, and movements committed to protecting the Amazon and promoting sustainable development.

IRI-Colombia’s participation has focused on sharing its expertise in building alliances among religious leaders, faith-based communities, scientific institutions, indigenous peoples, social organizations, and public entities, promoting collaborative governance based on dialogue, trust, and collective action.

This process represents an opportunity to consolidate cooperation mechanisms, strengthen institutional capacities, and generate synergies that will increase the impact of advocacy, education, communication, and social mobilization efforts in support of tropical forest conservation and the well-being of Amazonian communities.

Through its participation in the Red de Redes Amazónicas, IRI-Colombia reaffirms its commitment to contributing to the development of increasingly robust, inclusive, and strategic cooperation platforms capable of addressing the environmental and social challenges facing the Amazon from a perspective of shared responsibility and collaborative work.
